why do smokers
continue to smoke
when they know
it is damaging
to their lungs
(not to mention the social stigma, goddamn healthy people)
why do teenagers
continue to play video games
and drink excessively
when they know they
should be studying
(why do you think students panic so much during exams? no one studies before)
why do people
have unprotected sex
knowing (i hope everyone knows by now)
that pregnancy (hopefully not coupled with an odd rash)
linger for eternity
why does the human mind put such a such emphasis on immediate pleasure that its own self preservation (in the long run) is hindered.
Dis is some deep stuff right here. Nothing logical really ever explained this craving we have for the pleasures of life. Cant quite help you here but I'll look around, see if I can get back to yah
